Discover the activities

Discover the exhibitions, activities, and the Radôme.

Games, exhibitions, animations, self-guided or guided tours… The Cité des Télécoms presents many facets and has many surprises in store for you.

Explore the Cité at your own pace, whether you’re with your family, as adults, young or not so young… we have made a selection for you according to different criteria to help you, if you wish, prepare your visit.
You will discover the fascinating world of telecommunications and its evolution, but not only that!

The Cité des Télécoms is divided into 3 spaces:

  • The exhibition center, a very large triangular building on 2 floors:

The ground floor is dedicated to the history and evolution of telecommunications, which you will discover through interactive thematic rooms. For the youngest, “the children’s corner” offers various communication modules for ages 3 to 10.

The first floor features, starting from February 19, 2024, the exhibition “Special Effects, Break the Screen!” created by the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, in co-production with the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée. This exhibition provides you with an interactive exploration behind the scenes of the creation of special effects in cinema.

  • The Radôme, that immense white balloon under which the PB1 antenna is concealed.

During an immersive journey that retraces the birth of global television in 1962, you will relive the few minutes that preceded this event. From room to room, you are immersed in a period atmosphere until you discover the gigantic horn antenna.

  • The outdoor spaces

A tree-lined park at the foot of the Radôme where oversized games (chess and checkers) are available. Lounge chairs are there for you to take a break during your visit. A food truck is present all summer from Monday to Friday, offering crepes, galettes, and ice cream.
